Before leaving for work today at about 08:15 I started recording the
Pakistan v England Test cricket, so I could carry on watching the
England innings when I came home. I switched channels to clear the
rewind buffer, and had about 15% free space on my disc, so didn't have
any concerns about space.

Five minutes ago I noticed that it was *still* recording, despite the
programme finishing at 12:00 on Sky Sports 2! Which means I've lost:

The first episode of Rome (which was only repeated last night).

The last episode of House (which it looks as though five are showing
again from the start, so I have 21 weeks to wait to see it).

The last episode of JAG (which was only repeated on Saturday).

It's done the same to me this morning, and often does it when there are
system/software updates?

Do you now get an error and get told to ring Sky to fix it?
