How Do I Use Sky For FTV?
My mum and dad live in a pretty poor reception area. Normal terrestial is
pretty poor and Freeview just doesn't work at all. I have Sky+ so have a spare Sky DigiBox. I was thinking of getting it set up for them as a Christmas present for them. I can sort out buying a new dish and get an engineer engineer to install but there are a couple of things I'm not sure about (i) How do I get a Free To View (FTV) card? (ii) Given it's FTV do I have to connect to a telephone point? (iii) My parents are pensioners and get very nervous and scared about authority. If I go this route do they need to be register with Sky or not? - basically I don't want them being pressured into buying things they don't want. Cheers, Nigel |
