Q for Jomtien
Hi Jomtien
You are the only person who can answer to my question. I read about the freesat of ITV & BBC going live in the next few months. What I do not know is which satellite will be used. The question is not only for me, but for all expats living outside UK. ITV chief executive Charles Allen said: "we want our channels to be available to as many people as, possible, regardless of technological and geographical constrains" Any guess? Thanks Julus |

You are the only person who can answer to my question. No, I'm not. Many here could answer it. I read about the freesat of ITV & BBC going live in the next few months. What I do not know is which satellite will be used. They will continue to be broadcast from the current satellite position and regular Sky boxes will continue to receive them in the normal way without any adjustment being required. At some future time new satellites may be put in the same position and these may have a more limited footprint than the current ones. At the moment this is not the case. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these. Hi Jomtien You are the only person who can answer to my question. Oh. Well, I guess I'd better not give you the answer then. The question is not only for me, but for all expats living outside UK. ITV chief executive Charles Allen said: "we want our channels to be available to as many people as, possible, regardless of technological and geographical constrains" I will however say that I think he still only wants his channels to be available to as many people _in Britain_ as possible... -- David Taylor |
