Anyone know when this will air on BBC as I have been gettign it elsewhere,
but HBO are stopping people in the uk getting it off the net.

How are they stopping the UK from downloading it?

Once an episode propagates over usenet there is bugger all they can do
about it. All 6 episodes so far have appeared even a DVD compilation and
no doubt tonight's ep7 will turn up as well.

I've had to wait for the BBC screening due to NTL getting annoyed with
me for daring to actually make use of my 3meg connection so hopefully the
reported Autumn date means this year and the rumoured edits to
stream line the show are mistaken.

Thye are interfering by realsing loads of fake files which in effect slow
down the download of the series episodes as such things as emuale have to
keep error checking to replace the defective bits coimg from HBO

iffy files are interfering with the downloads, any idea which usenet group I
need to look at?

Episode 7 is currently in alt.binaries.multimedia and alt.binaries.tv in both
standard xvid (350meg) and higher definition xvid(700meg).
