Cheep Sky+ hard disc upgrade
 

Aldi are selling off some Tevion 250 GB drives for £60, so I took a chance
and tried one in my Pace V2 box. Everything seems to work OK, although I
haven't nailed the lid down yet.

Like this the drive runs quite cool, although I may put another fan in
since the original Maxtor drive was extremely hot when I took the lid off.

The Tevion drive is actually a Western Digital WD2500 7200 rpm / 8MB
device.
