Recording "Other Channels"
 

Hi,
I am wanting to setup a recording on a regional news bulletin - ITV
Central - and I live in the ITV Yorkshire region.

I have added the channel as an "other" channel and can view it, but
obviously there is no advanced epg info - just the current programme.

Is there any way I can go to work and get my Sky+ box to record the bit I
want or do I have to revert to good old VHS?

yes you can do a manual record in services i think its is, just like a video
you can set the time from when to start to when to finish and what channel

No, Sky+ cannot record anything from the 'Other Channels' menu, manual
recordings are indeed possible, but only from stations on the EPG.

It's back to the VHS I'm afraid

Hmmmm,
Is it just me or can you NOT record from an "other channel"?
