Scary isn't it? I don't feel better having all this tv. I used to be
an addict, in the 60s 70s and 80s. I still watched a lot in the 90s
but now I am almost cherry picking and finding it very hard to find
cherries I haven't eiher seen before or which are rotten inside or
tasteless.

I thought having all those movie channels would be cool, being a film
buff, but I've just had them turned back on after a six or so month
break and there's hardly a film I can honestly say, 'wow, so and so is
on this week!'

on a personal level, I am fed up with the amount of 'choice' on sky as
well ...... I am going to get a freeview box and use I think the 10 or

gambling channels.

Reading the F1 Newsgroup some posters agree the new A1 Racing will never

The A1GP can't ever catch on because it was launched on a minority
encrypted sports channel. The pre/post race coverage was utterly
diabolical and the race wasn't very exciting either. The only thing
going for it was that it was in anamorphic widescreen! :-)

True...As lots have reported on the F1 Newsgroup, Some countries are'nt even
showing it whilst others have it on the pay TV channels.
Last I read, Most of those interested in seeing the racing were waiting for
it being uloaded via P2P.

The Sky team did tend to waffle on quite a lot being a new series which I
suppose is expected but the way they kept repeating the reports on the
cars,engines etc went a bit OTT :-/

It's probably the reason F1 on ITV is crammed with adverts, They NEED to
raise the cash to ensure Sky don't swipe that as well.

That statement applies to every single ITV programme...

I just wish the BBC would have won the rights back.

Hel, Imagine having to subscribe to Sky sports and STILL sit through
panfuls
of ads if F1 switched to Sky!

...and that statement applies to every single Sky programme!

You can imagine my amazement when watching the inaugeral race two weeks back
and not one advert during the drag race and main race...I thought Skys Ad
machine had broken down !
I'm guessing it'll be for the benefit of possible new subscribers to get
them thing "Wow, No Adverts" only to find this week there probably will
be,If not this week it'll probably happen in a few races time.
A little nag when dropping the movies and swapping over to sports with Sky
is the EPG listings *Live Motor Racing*...Now Saturday and Sunday it could
have been anything...Tokk a little while to find knowing other *live motor
racing* was on as well :-/
