they have the poorest terrestrial anlaogue cover.

I wonder if Sky will keep their £150 non subscription installation price (if it
still available now). I doubt that you could get a non sky system installed for
this price.

Five _were_ FTA on Astra 19.2 analogue before Sky switched entirely to digital.
For the pedants they were actually soft encrypted in that you needed a
videocrypt decoder but did not require a card.

ITV/BBC are merely seeking publicity by saying that they are launching
a new "service".

receiver+ the bloody TV licence?

A rather pointless comment since you'd need to have the license before
you bought the TV. Or do you expect them to give you a free TV to
watch it on as well?

attributions if I were you. I didn't bring the subject up, I merely
backed up someone else's remark.

Digitial Spy have a clear policy on people posting news items without
quoting or referencing a source. The person who posted it on DS may
well be contacted by DS admin.

Try running your own news gathering service and sit back and watch
people use your hard work without crediting you. See how much you like
it.

I suppose you're one of these people who has "never ever ever" copied
someone elses work. Check your TV recorded videos. Every piece of recorded
tv will be "someone elses work", complete with copyright. In other words,
"that at worst, is copyright theft", as someone eagerly pointed out.
