Turning off the ticker in sky news interactive.

I'm currently watching the shuttle docking with ISS on sky news active.
(Thanks for covering this sky!).
However, on turning off the ticker, it comes back on in a short time.
Is there any way round this?

Graham July 28th 05 03:36 PM

I don't think so.
That ticker always annoys me too.....!!

Yes, it keeps reapearing, and is really annoying!

As far as I know, there's no way round this.

Because the quality is comparatively poor, and keeps dropping out on
many occasions.

Fwiw, the link I posted has a 350kbits/sec streaming speed, and the =
quality is very good here.
As regards Sky, of course that is excellent quality, but here I have =
found that as well as the banner annoyance, it is also prone to =
interruptions, either by the Sky logo and music, or sometimes there is a =
break to other news feeds, then after a suitable delay back to the NASA =
stream.....
