What sort of controls on the front?

My 15" LCD TV has seven buttons on the front;

Volume Up/Down (2)

TV/AV (1)

Standby/WakeUp (1)

Menu (1)

Channel Up/Down (2)

The menu button gives access to Brightness, Contrast, Colour and Sharpness
settings, as well as Bass and Treble etc all adjustable using the Volume
buttons, when the menu is on-screen.

Don't they all have similar to this? Mine is an Alba, and so far its been
excellent. So good infact that I ended up buying two of them, one for the
bedroom and another for the kitchen : )

It also has a Scart in, S-Video In, Composite Video In, Audio In Left and
Audio In Right, Teletext, Sleep timer, Nicam Stereo and IR Remote Control.

A bargain I reckon at 179 pounds from KwikSave (About two months ago)

Most makes that I have found have the controls on the top or the side.
I need one for a disabled person who can only manage front controls.
It sounds weird but she can't press buttons downwards.

I'll have a look for the Alba.

Thanks Tony. I've had a look at it and it looks ideal. No mention of a
remote control and Amazon list one as an extra. I can't believe it
hasn't got one as standard. Can you confirm?

Yes, both mine came with remote controllers, batteries and power supply (12v
d.c.input, great if you want to run it off a car battery etc).

Been very pleased with my two here.

I couldn't find a picture of the remote controller online, so I have just
taken a couple and uploaded them here. One has a 50p alongside it to give
you an idea of the size. Hope this helps Steve.

What a star you are! I must repay your efforts. Do you fancy a free
neural network? If so said me an email and I'll fix you up with a
registration code.

Thanks Adrian. I decided to go for the Alba that Tony suggested
yesterday. £199.99 from Amazon.
