Frog down the throat

Frog down the throat

You can't seem to switch on ITV or Sky these days without coming
across the Jamsters Ring Tones Ads. This aggressive campaign must be
costing them a fortune and I can't help feeling may have a negative
effect by the overkill frequency of the ads.
The frog I assume, is supposed to be wacky, but it comes over as just
grotesque. And that 'Sweety the chick' thing gives me the creeps. These
seem to have been made by people who can't remember what it was like to
be a child and I guess that attitude is probably the selling point.
It's urban and streetwise and it's like cute and wacky viewed through a
drug induced hallucination.
I know I'm not their target audience, for I find little to interest me
in how a phone rings, and even if you don't agree with my opinion on
their creations, I do think they overdone it with the Ads.

No. It is having exactly the opposite effect. the first Frog tone made them
OVER £10 MILLION!!! I am sure this next one will be pretty close too. This
form of aggressive campaigning is because they know that anything could be
the next fad that sad muppets cling onto whilst parting with masses of £1.50
per tones! In other words, get them while it's "cool".

Silly sad persons.

Quite, and if you're young enough to remember *Tivvy* who advertised the TV
Times and see it get banned *because it was simply annoying to viewers*, It
get's you to thinking what type of audience don't bother about this sheer
REALLY annoying advert on so frequently!

It's probably aimed at the *Happy Slapper* thugs who just HAVE to have the
ring tone whilst making their new video ;-)

Have you actually started turning over rather than watch a channel
with them on? The only music channels I watch nowadays is MTV2 and
that only on saturday night... and I tape it do if any f***ing ugly
little critter starts making noises I can fast forward... but enough
about Kylie Mynogue

:O)

Now thats not on! I am a die hard indie/rock/dance kind of bloke, but I went to see Kylie in Manchester a
few weeks ago & she was great. I didn't know all the songs, but loved the whole night.

You're right abou the state of the music channels, 'The Amp' is not too bad, but the feckin' adverts
drive me through the roof!

make a whole pub stop in its tracks!!

It really is loud & grating!

Ah, sorry mate, I think she's a hoor who can't sing but can sell her
body to music. Still sorry for her having cancer though
