Humax pvr update

I just had another update for the Humax PVR, it do not seem to have done
anything. It seems strange that two updates was so close to each other.

No obvious changes here either. I've yet to discover if it allows
simultaneous record and replay of different programmes, or if it still
stops playback when it drops out of record, but it's still possible to
switch the power off while it's recording, which is a bad sign.

I got no idea, I never had the problem.
I can not find my manual either, so I can not even read that,

you may have to get in touch with humax.

No obvious changes here either.

The only thing that has changed is the version number - it's version 1.00.17
renamed. It appears that some people were having problems upgrading.

No it doesn't.

or if it still
stops playback when it drops out of record,

Haven't tried it yet but I suspect it does.

but it's still possible to
switch the power off while it's recording, which is a bad sign.

Some systems got stuck with version 2.0 and wouldn't go back to 1.00.17,
so they had to re-broadcast with a higher number.

the EPG stores the last days schedule prior to present time, or did I not
notice this before the last upgrades, I have twice had epg selected
recordings that did not stop at the epg selected time, this has only
happened since first download

I have a HUMAX PVR Box it still shows as 1.00.14?

I obviously missed this update somehow. I didn't actually try to download
'cos I only read about this update today.

I thought the update process was automatic and happened overnight.
