Channel Selection Error

Had an odd problem with a Humax F2 Fox T earlier today (during Cbeebies
hours). Channel 31 was blank (not even the red BBC holding page)and
Cbeebies was appearing as BBC4. The i-plate said BBC4 but with no now
or next information. A reboot put everything back in its right place.
Any idea what would cause this?

Identical performance to my Humax Fox, and it's why I'm not letting my 88
year old aunt have it! (Can't risk asking her to get down to floor level to
remove and replace the mains plug! At the best of times, she's unsteady on
her feet.)

It's happened several times, and seems to happen more often, if I leave it
on overnight, even though I've turned off the automatic software update. I
asked about it in Curries, but no recognition of the problem there.
Must visit the Humax website!
