Bitrate.

What bitrate would a DVB-C channel be if it used 64-Quam and a symbol rate
of 6875?

The bit rate for 64-QUAM is 6 times the symbol rate (because 64 is the
number 2 raised to the power of 6), so the bitrate is 41250, before FEC. For
FECs of 7/8, 5/6, 3/4, 2/3 or 1/2 the total bitrate available would be
36094, 34375, 30938, 27500, or 20625 respectively.

Okay, thanks! I guess a strong FEC would not be needed on cable, so 30938 or
more should be archievable.
