Cut pin 19, or buy a ribbon scart from CPC. Cheap and effective.

It was marked TV at one end and DVD player at the other in tiny moulded writing. Took ages to get the the player to work as inevitably I plugged it in back to front. john |
Try Keene Electronics near Derby. More cables than you can shake a stick at.

I still get this ghosting when using my dvd recorder. I'm thinking there's some kind of signal leakage in the tv set itself. Have you got the DVD and TV set to RGB? I've never seen signal leakage affect RGB, but I don't know why that should be. Bill |
Because the 1960s stuff that they broadcast in mono was recorded in mono

Sorry, my mistake.
Knew it was ok on FV, didn't spot the DAB, so assumed you were referring to the mono repeats of old stuff, of which there are rather a lot on R7. "Mike Henry" wrote in message ... Consider at the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s "stuff" that was recorded in stereo and broadcast in stereo in the olden days on Radio 4 FM. It's still now correctly stereo on BBC 7 Satellite, stereo on BBC 7 Freeview and - oh look! - MONO on DAB, and at a lower bitrate too just as a final kick in the teeth to DAB customers. That example alone demonstrates why DAB certainly can't be considered as "the future of radio" with a straight face. |
