I agree with the law on Fox hunting, in fact it do not go far enough,
but do not give me crap about peoples right to fox hunt, what about the
foxes rights?

Stuff the foxes, what about the chickens' rights?
Forget the chicken's - they do terrible things to all that corn. Support
the rights of corn not to be eaten by chickens!

The automatic, yet ludicrously naive, extension of hitherto "human"
rights to other forms of life *is* the "thin end of the wedge", which
might just get us back on topic!

We don't. My Rolls Royce is nearly a year old and I can't afford another one
for months yet.

And this is a real hardship because the ashtrays are full.

Well send it back then. Less than a year old it'll still be under guarantee,
and ashtrays that fill up within a year obviously aren't fit for the
purpose. Tell them you'll report them to Watchdog if they don't play nice.
You could also write to The Times.

This is all nature, that what happens in the wild.
It is not nature, for a load of jumped up posh twits to run around like
chidren chasing after a fox, for the fun of it.

Oh yes, we did get off track a bit.

Get a life - hunting was as much a part of nature as any of the above
long before you or the tree hugging loony left could recognise anything
as a posh twit.

I think the proper place to make the distinction is between killing things
humanely to make some use of them, and killing things for fun. The
derivation of pleasure from killing is a moral issue with implications for
everybody, posh twits, tree huggers, or otherwise.

Hunting to destroy vermin in order to protect food sources?
