'Neighbours' allways on the move by BBC

Hi,
Why is such a popular programme moved all over the place, along with time
shifts and cancelled showings?
It amazes me with all these stations that the BBC have regular viewers
messed around when sport comes along.
The BBC do not care do they.

Noticed that when the BBC have the 5pm Euro 2004 match that Neighbours is
not repeated in the evening, meaning fans miss an episode.

Fans of Ann Robinson must be happy. Just think what they would say if the
BBC abandoned all BBC2 progs in favour of displaced BBC1 programs.

Considereing the number of announcements the kids get about CBBC1 is now on
CBBC2 they might as well have put the soccer on BBC2 and kept the BBC1
schedule intact.

That's if you can call that assortment of crappy soaps a 'schedule'!

Paul.

It's still shown in the afternoon.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the word 'TECH' in the newsgroup name.

You can talk about the pixalation of neighbours, the lack of an EPG which
neighbours should by now be on, or the the time-slip caused by regions as
the opt in for the Six, but not about the flamming time its on.

Ta.

It should be technically possible with all these extra channels to leave
the existing schedules alone and put football and tennis on a channel
already dedicated to sport. There has already been more time spent by
the BBC adverting football, horse racing and tennis than will actually
be used to broadcast these events.
