Freeview free channels with card ??

this may have been asked before but here goes if not..
have got an old nokia on-digital box all working present and correct..
i also have a MM2 card which i used with the Eeprom programer to get free
channels back in the day.
since BBC have given us 'free' chennels if you now pay what is the chance
of me getting it out
off the drawer and using it.. ??
what i'm after is any info on software for the card to program and allow
reception of
these new channels from the BBC..can't afford £7.50 a month you see..lol

thanks in advance...

Use away, let us all know what happens. See if you can get Sky Movies.

Doubt it somehow. The old OnDigital cards no longer work. Sky Movies isn't
broadcast anymore.

Well the channels you are talking about are absolutely nothing to do with
the BBC.

But does it? UKTV are part owned by the BBC (might be wrong on that fact).
But a couple of months ago, when the BBC had "electrical problems", when the
BBC went off, so did UKTV.

UKTV use BBC Broadcast for their playout: http://www.bbcbroadcast.com/. UKTV
is also partly owned by BBC (Worldwide?).

However TopUp TV, who are the company actually charging for these channels,
have nothing to do with the BBC. So in response to the OPs assertion ,the
BBC are not the ones charging for these channels.

Two entrepreneurs, David Chance & Ian West:

It is an independent company.
