TUTV "half price connection" offer ends on 30th April!

I just had a look at www.topup.tv and the wee TUTV gnome was holding a
sign which reads "online offer: half price connection fee. Hurry offer
ends 30th April".

So if you're thinking about signing up, you'd better do it this month.
They didn't tell us this before the launch date!

Of course this makes a mockery of the "no long term contract" selling
point of TUTV - if you have to pay an additional 20 quid every time
you reconnect, its not really worth stopping the service unless you
plan on not using it for three or more months.

Not that its really worth starting the service (as it stands at the
moment) anyway.

Ric.

It might end then, but how can you say it will go up, it might come down.

Probably haven't got enough subscribers at the moment.

If you knew what you were talking about in the first place, you'd know that
it's a one-off connection fee, never to be paid again for your box.

Their FAQ says different.

£10 if you reconnect via the web and £20 if by telephone

It the answer after the one about cancelling a subscription.

Suspect that most of those who have signed up paid only £10. Dull if they
paid more!
