Top Up TV crashes Freeview box - help!
This evening Freeview informed me there were seven new channels and to
press OK to see what they were. I did so and got the Top TV preview but there now seems to be no way to get back to all the other channels. Have tried switching off and on; have tried disabling the new channels - both to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this? More importantly, how do I fix it? Or where can I get help? It's a Phillips box. Any and all suggestions much appreciated. This is my first post here so sorry if the question is basic! Best wishes, e-ian |

I think the Philips puts any new channels in a temporary favourites list called New Channels or something similar. Sounds like you might be stuck in that. Have a look in the manual to see how to change to other "regular" favourites list or perhaps a list called "All TV". Ian |

Best wishes, e-ian Philips won't say if they will upgrade their old boxes (and haven't) Philips have been unclear about upgrades for their new boxes. Philips don't respond to queries about this. Leave it off (at the wall) for 5m, then try again, otherwise buy another box. |

The only way we found to fix it was to reset the box to factory default, the instructions are in the manual |
