Masterplug Gold Plated Scart Lead - A review

The packaging says:
High Quality Scart Lead
Optimises signal transfer
Improves sound and picture quality.

But
The cable sheath is extra thick.
Although the cable has an outer screen, none of the wires are separately
screened.
The "gold plating" is applied to the plug; not the pins.
The "gold plating" tarnishes easily.

Bought from Tescos. And its going back!

Tesco should stick to food, come to the specialists if you want quality
cabling at a good price.

What did you expect for £2.95?

Round the back of the Kings Arms at 11.30 on a Saturday night, three minutes of
pleasure and a lifetime of clap.

It can't be gold plating if it tarnishes.
I am looking for reasonably priced quality scart leads 1.5m long that DON'T
have an open circuit in any of the wires, I've just binned two partially open
circuit leads.
Regards Mike.
