I don't have SCART on my TV. Can I record one digital prog on the HD and
view another on the TV?

I downloaded a copy of the User Manual of the Pace Twin yesterday, and
it seems that it will support your requirement on a SCARTless TV. You
can modulate the output of either of its tuners onto the RF-out while
recording the other.
