Pace twin audio noise
Hi,
Has anyone else noticed background noise/hum on the pace twin when listening through an external amp? It is there all the time but is usually masked by the programme unless it is very quiet, obviously. It can easily be heard on a blank channel such as ch24. It is also audible when replaying from disk, to hear it clearly press pause, the noise remains. When MUTE is pressed or the volume is reduced on the Pace the noise goes away, complete silence, so I know it's not down to faulty connections or amp etc. It's not mains hum, more of a digital mush/hum/noise Has anyone else heard this?? Mike. |

Mike. This is a hardware fault that was on the early boxes. Contact Pace (01274 532 000): I had the same thing and they collected the box, dealt with the problem, and returned it at their own expense. After modification the sound quality is fine. -- rfwilmut'at'nospam.yahoo.com remove the nospam and alter the 'at' to reply (but you knew that already) |

Thanks for that, the courier picked it up this afternoon! This is a hardware fault that was on the early boxes.
