Is DTT coverage expanding?

Freeview isn't available in my area (Hathersage, N.Derbyshire).
Is coverage expanding or are we stuck without it indefinitely?

It is expanding, but will never reach 100% coverage.

Even when anologue finishes?
Would have expected the powers on present stations to go up, I thought they
were kept down so as not to upset analogue viewers at present.
Also what about relays which at present do not do digital, are they not to
be made digital?

What makes you think you can't get it already? The online postcode
checkers are only a guide.

You are 20 miles from Emley Moor transmitter so if you get a decent
aerial and point it in the right direction you might find that you can
receive some Freeview channels already.
