No new Enterprise?
I read on a scifi bulliten board that Sky One will not be showing series 4
of Enterprise! Has anyone else heard this or was it a troll trying to get a response (which of course he did, from me)? |

Has anyone else heard this or was it a troll trying to get a response (which of course he did, from me)? Hmm. I think it is more than just a troll. I've just looked at the schedule for Sky One for January and it's not there, nor is it in any of their updates documents. Not a good sign. (I wish the word "Enterprise" didn't appear in quite so many synopses for TNG episodes!). They could be delaying it; if they don't show it then it will be the first time since TNG in the late 80s that Sky hasn't bought (or indeed, been broadcasting) a star trek series? Enterprise series 1 started on 7th Jan 2002 on Sky One. Series 2 started on 6th Jan 2003. Series 3 was 5th Jan 2004. There is still a "TBA" on Sky One 21:00 3rd Jan 2005, but the following two Mondays have a movie in that slot. Sky's flagship primetime slots seem to be filled with Reality-TV junk in 2005 - "So you think you're safe", "The secret life of", "Ed vs Spencer", "Rescue me", "Darts players' wives", "The only gays in the village". It looks like a determined effort to attract the Chav market to me :-( As far as I know, the US is on Episode 9 and there is a big long break whilst they show SG1, so perhaps Sky are waiting for all episodes in the US to be shown before they show the whole lot over here.... |

Next episode's broadcast on the 14th January in the US: http://tinyurl.com/3qdz2 SG1's been on a break for ages and starts again in January too: http://tinyurl.com/625uj Although this episode appears to have already been shown over here! -- somnambulist |

It is not even listed in Digiguide, unless it has been added today (my listings don't update till 19:00) |

Well it's certainly not listed in the Jan schedule, mind you there are plenty of new shows and returning shows, would make sense to spread them around. I would be very surprised if they didn't buy season 4, after all they stuck with it for the first two less than stellar seasons then the much better third, be a shame if the stunning fourth season isn't shown. However they only officially announced the purchase of season2 of Cold Case and Las Vegas very recently and SKY have in the past have not gone out of their way to keep viewers informed:) Lots of schedule info here...... http://www.skyprogrammeinformation.co.uk/index.asp Mike C |
