Digibox - Which receiver is best?

We have a Panasonic and an Amstrad, there doesn't seem to be much in it, but the Panasonic does seem to be a little quicker (Plus it looks nicer). The Sony box has Optical output, which is rather nice. Don't know if they're still made though, my sister had one years ago... |

Some Grundig digiboxes (now badged Thomson) have a "feature" that stops the TV-Link device from working. |
