dd 5.1 'below' on sky movies :)

Just though I would say what an excelent sound track this film has if
you have sky+ with dd 5.1 . Very eary aquatic sounds from outside the
submarine !

Are there any others at the moment not to miss ?

It's largely off-topic but if you really want good sound then you
should try some DVDs with a DTS soundtrack.
DTS is to DD5.1 as DD5.1 is to DS.

DTS has been adopted for the new HD-DVD standard.

I would have said that DTS is to DD 5.1 what 320 kbps mp3 is to 192
Kbs mp3 ( for example) , not much in it in reality. I have both on my
Amp BTW . DS is TOTALY different from DD 5.1.. all the surround info
for all the channels is encoded on a stereo soundtrack. I doubt DTS
will every be sent over sky, it's probably not worth the extra
bandwith.

Indeed, but that isn't very helpful for someone who doesn't know what
the figures mean.

, not much in it in reality.

You are welcome to your opinion. I can easily hear the difference.

I know.

One or two channels have been testing DTS over satellite. Not in the
UK though. I will wager a small sum that DTS will be part of the spec
for Sky HD transmissions.

Yep, DTS rocks! And if you by the Benelux R2 edition of 'Below', it has a
DTS track in English (neither the UK nor US release has DTS).
