|| OK, Im finally bowing to household pressure to make Rupert richer! ;-( snip? Quote from sky.com "Join Sky digital today as a new customer and you'll get your first month's subscription half price on any channel package costing £19.50 or more, plus free equipment and free standard installation" So, your best bet would be to order "Sky Movies World", @ £35, this will give you all the movies, plus family pack, plus Disney, at offer price of £17.50 for the first month. Then downgrade after first month to the "family pack plus Disney" @ £24.50 p/m That is the best way to do it. Think of it as getting loads of free extra channels for the first month :o) Enjoy |

Cheers If you wanted it for Christmas, you better do it soon, as I imagine they are very busy at this time of year!! - also you need to give 30 days notice to change packages - so the day after its installed ring them up to move down. Once you change to a package you need to stay on that package for a minimum of 30 days before you can "downgrade", however, you can "upgrade" to any package at anytime without a 30 day limit! |

When you upgrade ( not change ) you have to keep the package for 30 days. However you can upgrade again within that 30 days if upgrading to an even higher package. You cannot downgrade until you have had your last upgrade for at least 30 days. The Disney package is what they call a stanalone package and is £5 per month for all 4 channels, Disney is free if you subscribe to all Movie channels |

They are having a laugh: It's like Tesco saying, you must also buy sausages for one month if you buy beans, and you can't not buy chips. How do they think that they can dictate to consumers these kinds of terms? I bet Isleworth will have a massive office party given these terms! You'd want to have a party when you've got people queing up for under kinds of terms. (Answer my own question: Because the public *wants* to accept these terms.)
