Too true, fast and reliable too (I use Burst! Client and it's great).
Any tips on good torrent sites, as everyone seems to have a different
favourite!

Allegedly, not that I would know, http://tinyurl.com/3pvto but they
purportedly come and go every so often.

http://bittornado.com/ is an excellent client to use for legitimate file
transfers too. It allows the user to throttle one's bandwidth so one's
connection (and PC) does not crawl to a halt.

A party of developers, along with others, have considered releasing a
Sky-like EPG (Electronic Programme Guide), that would emulate the genius
and ergonomics of Sky's EPG but hook into the fantastic content that is
available without the limitations imposed by BSKYB. It's a dream... New
programmes, syndicated via XML just pop-up in the EPG.

If it existed in a cloud on the internet, and had no H.Q. and no head
for the lawyers to pursue, then it could liberate viewers from the
serfdom of broadcasters...

Assume Scottish ****wit patronising voice:

Bit Torrent... long pause... what do you want to watch your way, when
you want, without Sky crap, adverts, DOGs, RED DOTs, cuts, censorship,
stupid scheduling, endless repeats, bull-**** monthly magazines, content
makers signed into absurd content packages with Sky which does not
icentivise them to invest in quality programming nor reward them for
excellence, licence fees requiring you to pay for dumbed down rubbish
and biased news and over-paid "celebrities" and "tv personalities"
(SIC/oxymoron), Indian call centres, annual price rises, etc, etc.

Best torrent site I've found is www.suprnova.org It's got totally
free access without the need for you to register with site or pay any
membership fees. Do not confuse it with suprnova.com or suprnova.net,
both of which charge for access. You'll find it has links to thousands
of files including, among others, games, movies, TV shows, audio
books, applications etc. It's the only torrent site I've bothered with
for months.

If suprnova goes down, donvitorrent.com is usually still up and running,
with almost identical content - ahh, it looks like it redirects here now

Thank you, Colin. It's good to have an alternative. Supernova.org has
crashed a few times recently for me. Have noted your alternative.

Thanks to both, I've been using supernova.org, but I always like
personal recommendations for alternates!
