extra boxes?
We have a sky digi box downstairs but my son is talking about getting
sky+ put in his room. Is there a way of doing this as a multiroom setup? Anyone any idea of charges etc? -- Paul (Demanding Billy Dolls, And other friends of mine) ------------------------------------------------------ Stop and Look http://www.geocities.com/dreamst8me/ |

Shouldn't be any problem. Make the Sky+ box the primary one and the old box multiroom with a new card. The Sky+ box should be available for £300 if you haggle a bit - maybe even less. Sky+ will cost you £10 per month unless you have two premier subscriptions (e.g. both Sky Movies packages). Plus £10 for the multiroom. Remember that both boxes have to be connected to your phone line at all times. Sky will insist on this and will check periodically (to make sure you haven't sold the old box and its card to someone else). |

yeah, just read about that phoneline thing, not happy about having another bloody wire trailing round the house -- Paul (Demanding Billy Dolls, And other friends of mine) ------------------------------------------------------ Then you'll be even less impressed by the 2 coaxial cables coming from the LNB to feed the Sky+ box. Won't it be three if they have multiroom as well as sky+ ? (2 for Sky+ and one for old digibox) ------------------------------------------------ "We are all individuals" "I'm not!" |

It worked for me. Some "Pound" shops do it for about £3, Joe |
