Do Sky check if your phone's plugged in?
I'm thinking of getting a second box - part of the contract appears to
be connecting phone line for 12 months. Do they actually check up on this. If so what happens? |

You'll get a letter after a few weeks of unplugging it reminding you of the terms and if you don't connect it, they'll up the subscription to the full price on the second box. -- Conor Normality will be restored once we actually work out what normality is. |
if you are on the dual sub then they aparently DO check the phone line to
make sure that your using both boxes in the same house and your not using the second sub round at your mates house but all other users with one box never really seem to get checked "Tom" wrote in message ... I just changed to Sky+ and Multiroom The way I understand, it is since I have been a subscriber for over 12 months and paid £149 for the deal. The Sky+ is off the phone line, but the multiroom is on the phone line since that is the box that's been subsidised..... I'll await and see what happens. -- Dewi, (remove spin for email) |

If you have multiroom you must have BOTH receivers connected to the phone line - that's the condition of multiroom, it's nothing to do with receiver subsidy. (It's to make sure that you haven't sold the second card to your mates, or on ebay, or something.) |

Its a condition of multiroom that both boxes are connected - nothing to do with whether they subsidised I'll await and see what happens. You will get a letter Loz |
