Sky are now spreading seasons over much longer periods - eg taking South Park and Malcolm in the Middle off air for 4 months in the summer - so I am only getting 1 season every 15 or so months. Don't think I haven't noticed, Sky. Er, you know a season only lasts 6 months, don't you? |

Mucho snipo I wonder if people would be complaining as loudly if SKY hadn't secured global first run rights by co-financing BSG and they would have had to wait until Jan to see the series with the US seeing it first:) TBH, I'd rather have waited. My issue is not so much with having to wait for a second series (if ever), but rather that there were *so* many cliffhangers in the last episode that it's ridiculous not to have secured a second series first. I'd have been reasonably happy with one or two cliffhangers, but leaving just about every question that was asked unanswered / every character in peril unsaved is taking the p**s. I don't ever remember a series ending like that (that badly) before.(!!) That said and while on the subject of series that end really badly, who wants to comment on the last episode or two of John Doe? Anyway, I'm getting to the point that I do not want to invest my time in watching any new series ... Instead I'm enjoying the complete re-run of Cracker on ITV3. Isn't Coltraine just bloody wonderful in that? |

Too right, that was a bitch of an ending but it's always a risk with an episodic story with large story arcs. The hope of course is the interest generated could give positive results IF the next season is in doubt. All said and done I got over it in 30 seconds and no matter what the series it's only television, something else will be along sooner or later:) Mike C |
