What's it worth?
Hi
I have decided to jump-ship and cancel my Sky sub. So, I now have a 3 year old, immaculate, boxed, silver Panasonic box (TU-DSB31) with all of the bits and manual for sale. I also have a blue ("house") Sky card that is subscribed for another month. How much is this lot worth? And are there any risks involved in selling it with the card (could an unscrupulous buyer get in touch with Sky pretending to be me and ask for it to be re-activated and I end up paying or it, for instance)? Thanks. -- Watch out for the spamtrap |

Absolutely nothing of course because they already claim to own the card. There is no way that they are going to prosecute someone for selling a Sky card. Can you imagine the adverse publicity? Most Sky subscribers believe that the card belongs to them just as much as the digibox does. -- Nigel Barker Live from the sunny Cote d'Azur |

I don't think Ebay know or care as there are dozens that have been on sale for days at a time. Is is worth Sky's while? Perhaps they think that someone watching the FTV/FTA stuff might be attacted to become a subscriber to a package. -- _______________________________ |
