sky+ box and free space errors
 

Hi

I've just had Sky+ installed last week and now for some unknown reason, its
started deleting recordings on its own, and even after deleting all
available recordings it reporting that it has 38% free. Anyone know any
problems with this or is it a case of calling out sky and returning the box.

There is a 'rebuild free space' procedure. cant get to the box at the mo but
I think its 4 0 1 enter and then choose on the menu.

Press Services 1st..

Services - 4 0 1

This enters the engineer menu, since the new SW download there is a SKY+
option to check/clear/fix free space indicator..

If for some reason your box has not updated yet (as it is new) you will not
have these options and this will probably be the cause of your problems.

Don't know what the latest SW ver is for you to check..
