It'd be interesting to see if anyone has counted up the number of times

each
team has been shown live this season. It seemed like only Arsenal, Man

Utd
and Chelsea got a look in this term. I know they were the only ones

really
in contention for the title, but there were some good looking games that
didn't get a look in. Anyone know if there is a place on the net that

shows
this?

Start couting each team from here....

I haven't counted each team's TV coverage, but if would be intersting if
somebody could tally them all up for SkySports and Permiership+ coverage

Further proof what a bunch of ****s Sky are. They are showing the
irrelevent Man U v A Villa match on Sky Sports 1, but the potentially
history making Arsenal game plus trophy presentation on pay per view.

Doesn't that kinda depend on who you support?
e.g. it wouldn't bother me if Arsenal were only ever on PPV. Or not even on at
all!

From Premierleague.com

Team name, then total number of appearances on Sky, (SS = A Sky Sports
Channel (1,2 or 3), PP+ Premiership + Pay per view channel.)
Arsenal 19 (SS 15, PP+ 4)

Man Utd. 19 (SS 13, PP+ 6)

Chelsea 17 (SS 12, PP+ 5)

Newcastle Utd. 15 (SS 9, PP+ 6)

Liverpool 12 (SS 8, PP+ 4)

Man City 11 (SS 6, PP+ 5)

Leeds Utd. 11 (SS 5, PP+ 6)

Aston Villa 10 (SS 4, PP+ 6)

Birmingham 10 (SS 6, PP+ 4)

Southampton 9 (SS 8, PP+ 1)

Portsmouth 9 (SS 7, PP+ 2)

Blackburn 9 (SS 5, PP+ 4)

Spurs 8 (SS 6, PP+ 2)

Charlton 8 (SS 5, PP+ 3)

Leicester 8 (SS 4, PP+ 4)

Fulham 7 (SS 5, PP+ 2)

Everton 7 (SS 3, PP+ 4)

Bolton 6 (SS 4, PP+ 2)

Middlesbrough 6 (SS 4, PP+ 2)

Wolves 5 (SS 3, PP+ 2)

figures include all games up to and including 12th May 2004, Southampton vs
Newcastle Utd.

Cheers,
Col.

ps. I can see the Leeds fans wishing this was the real table. And if you're
a Saints fan, don't bother buying a PP+ season ticket if you're after seeing
more of your own side.

See todays 'Mail on Sunday' page 112, for an interesting table

Now that my original post has been duly corrected, I wonder when the extra
games will be shown.

For instance, last year, a typical weekend would have a live game on Sky
Sports on Saturday at 12:00.
Then on Sunday, a Premiership+ game would start at 2pm followed by a Sky
Sports game at 4pm

This became almost a routine in our household.

With the extra 32 games next year, its almost one extra game every weekend.

Anybody know or hazard a guess where it will be slotted?

I think I saw somewhere it would be early Saturaday evening, around
5.30-6.00ish, one of the reasons the terrestrials didn't want it.
