Further correspondence from Channel 4 CEO
Hello,
I have today received one more email from Mr Mark Thompson, CEO, of Channel 4. Mr Thompson, is being defensive, which is of course an industry standard tactic and not necessarily a dismisal of the RED DOT CHOICE initative. I personally think, Mr Thompson, may be thinking through and working the issues too if he is not too focused on his job upgrade application. His position reflects his "C4's best interests" policy, and I do appreciate the problems and dilemas he has. I know Mark personally as a friend, and I have much faith in him. I hope he will become the BBC D.G. (The reference to Barry Cox, is C4's Deputy Chairman.) Mr Thompson's email today: http://logofreetv.org/content/corres...ay.asp?id=6430 I have written a response which no doubt the N.G. will comment upon: http://logofreetv.org/content/corres...ay.asp?id=6431 For those who will dimiss us, the principle is END USER CHOICE. We are pro-choice. Let end users make their own personal decisions about DOGs, RED DOTs, and software downloads without dictation. I would like to thank Dom Robinson of http://dvdfever.co.uk/ for expediating this cause. http://logofreetv.org/ CHOICE FOR ALL -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |
