Problems with Sky+

Hi

I have had Sky+ for just over a year now and right on schedule my digi box
has started playing up. When I try to record any program I get a message
saying recording is not available and to ring Sky. My recordings list also
could not be viewed, I just got the same warning.

I tried a reset to no avail so I tried a full system reset from the
engineers menu. This did the trick and it all started working perfectly
ok..for about a week!

Another System Reset did the trick again and this lasted a few weeks but
since 2 days ago I cant record any programs and nothing I can do seems to
help.

When I check the Signal Test from the menu I see that input 2 Strength and
Quality are empty and it says it is Not Locked.

Can anyone help? I know I'm going to have to call out an engineer!

Thanks in advance

That would suggest a hard drive problem.

When I check the Signal Test from the menu I see that input 2 Strength and
Quality are empty and it says it is Not Locked.

And that would suggest a 2nd tuner/LNB problem.

First try inverting the two LNB feeds at the receiver end. Then try
using one of the spare outputs from the quad LNB.
