Sky Package in Spain
 

I have a mini dish and box at my house in Spain. I want to get the sky
packages but cant obviously because Sky is in the UK. How do I subscribe to
sky but have the box out in Spain. I am sure I have seen others do it.

It's unlikely that a minidish will be adequate anywhere in Spain (1.2 metres
appears to be about the minimum to get all Sky channels).

Numerous people have Sky in Spain (and other European countries) and most
subscribe via a friend or relative in the UK or Eire.

Those who don't have that option go for one of the online 'agents' who
charge a management fee (sometimes quite high) for supplying a card - try a
Google search.

Yes but you do get all the BBC's, RTE 1, Network 2, TV3 (ITV Programming
Corrie, Emerdale, etc. Owned by Granada) and TG4+ all the normal SKY
Channels just the same as the UK. So in fact you get more channels then the
UK and you don't miss out on anything and all in Euros. Much better deal if
living in Euro land.

You get all the BBCs without a Sky card or even a digibox. You most certainly
would miss out on ITV1, ITV2, C4 & C5. How do you work out that the Irish get
more channels than the Brits?

No offence to the Irish but if I were a British ex-pat looking for a Sky sub I
would want a British one not least for local news of my home area. I do know
some Irish ex-pats even in the UK & they prefer an Irish Sky sub for just the
same reasons.
