SKY+ Record to PC also Bigger Hard Disk
 

Dear All,

Firstly Thanks for taking the time to read my post !

I have recently purchase A Sky + box and i would like to ask a few
questions.

1... In simple terms how do I take the information from Sky + and place it
on my computer. I have a Hauppage TV capture card and a Pinnacle FireWire
card inside my pc and a Pioneer A06 DVD Writer installed and Nero 6. Can
any one help with this?

2... Again in simple terms, how do i replace the hard disk currently
installed inside the sky plus box with a larger capacity drive and what type
of drive, make, speed, max size, etc ... do i need to buy also will i need a
different fan and how do i install it if i do. Cam any one help with this ?

Connect Sky+ to PC card using either composite and audio from scart or
audio from RCA and S-Video (if the card supports this). Replay
programme on Sky+ and capture with video card. Edit resulting file,
author to DVD standard and burn to DVD.

Is it possible to transfer the raw data of the mpeg2 streams from a Sky+ box
to the PC so that the video isnt re-encoded?
