remote eye still work on sky+?

Hi all,

I currently have a "normal" sky box with a premium package. I am a bad
sleeper so I also have sky piped upstairs via the aux connector on the back
of the box. I use the "remote eye" type gadget so that I can switch channels
etc from my upstairs.

I'm really finding it hard to resist the move to sky+ and thought I might as
well do it,

BUT...will the remote eye setup work on the new sky+ box?

I know that I can have the old box relocated but I can't see the point of
that if the sky+ has the aux output and I can still access all the features.
i.e if I wake up in the night I can switch it on and watch a program I
previously recorded without having to get out of bed and go downstairs.

does anyone know??

many thanks

The only thing to remember is that it has to be turned on from the menu.
:)

I'm guessing that this is the same as with my original sky box, and the menu
is a "special hidden" one

Yes, that's right, but you'd be amazed how many people forget to turn it
on in the excitement of a new box. :)
