not sky plus, but works here with normal sky well.

close to the skyplus box infra red reciever? try manuavering those while
someone in the other room trys changing channel, did that here and didnt
take 2 mins to set up

My guess is that the Philips Video Sender does not work with Sky+.
Sky+
remotes use a differnet set of freq's than a standard Sky box. I bet
the
Philps does not support the freq's that Sky+ use's.

i dont think this is true because it mentions problems with cable boxes but
not sky+, and my remote control which lists the same problem of some cable
boxes does have the codes for sky+ built in. so i dont see why it would be
this.

The Philips product in question works just fine with Sky+ - I have one.
However, I did find that the strength of the IR-signal emitted by the
base-station (through the IR dongle cable) is utterly crap. So unless the
IR-emitter is at a very specific angle and right-up close then it won't
work.

Fork.

My Philips video sender works fine with my Sky+ box. I use a Sky+ remote
upstairs and it works fine. Had slight problems with one of the IR thingies
that stick on the box but I used the second one and it works fine.

Firstly, do not top post.

Secondly you didn't need the last of the apostrophes that you used in
that message. You could have saved your fingers some work.
