dish problem

Sky (digi) Dish got knocked a few months back and cost £40 to reset
position.

Any instructions on how to do it myself?

I know it is supposed to be 28 degrees east but i want to know a more
accurate way of finding what 28 degrees east is apart from looking at
neighbours dishes.

It's not a difficult as people make out - see Dave Sullivan's excellent site
and, ignoring the references to caravans, follow his advice -

thanks for the help,

it must have been the window cleaners who knocked it cause the angle in the
sky was still set so it was a matter of slowly moving the dish right to left
while dad lets me know if it effects the signial.

And to think we got charged £40 for someone to do this last year....im in
the wrong business...lol.

thanks again.
