I think Happauge to a USB version. Cya Simon |

Direct extraction is not possible. You need a video capture device and I have yet to see one that does a good job for a reasonable sum. A set-top DVD recorder would be a better bet. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these. Recognizes NTSC and PAL (among others), requires no external power, has coax(RF) and S-Video input ports. It has an internal 125 channel tuner (Cable and OTA), and allows pre-view of up to 16 channels at a time. Allows snap image capture from the video feed. One thing I haven't figured out is why I'm only receiving Mono audio (Using RF). Still playing, and haven't tried S-Video yet. (Need a longer cable than what I have right now). -- John To reply, change @freeserve.co.uk -to- @yahoo.com rant Made the mistake of believing Freeserve ads 'Use the Internet as often as you like, any time you like' What they really mean is once in awhile, but not to often, otherwise you get a nasty letter from Keith Hawkins Consumer Managing Director /rant |

Nor does your VCR, DVD player or any other consumer device with an RF output. And this capture device (AFAIK in common with all such capture devices) presumably can't capture RGB either. All in all I far prefer the dedicated hardware set-top box solution. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these.
