Price of Sky+

I am already a Sky subscriber and will be upgrading to Sky+ soon but
looking at the Sky website has left me a little bit puzzled about the
installation charges.

From what I can gather, if booked online, installation is only £1 but
only if you are a new customer. It seems that as an existing customer,
installation is going to cost me £49.

The only way I can get installation for £1 is to have my original box
relocated, which I have no desire to do because it well be getting
flogged on ebay.

Is this correct?

Your best option will be to cancel and resubscribe. That way you will
pay the least and you will have a used series 2 card which will be
worth more than the digibox.

Will they let me do that? Will I have to sign up in my wife's name or
can I use the same details as before?

It appears that they have changed the offer 'again'...

A colleague of mine with an existing sub had the thing installed for £1
without AFAIK having the relocation....
