Second Sub
 

I have had the main sub and second sub for well over a year, I'm guessing
its ok to disconnect the telephone line now.

If the second sub is a cheap mirror subscription (i.e. not full
price), then both systems must be connected to the same operational
telephone line for as long as you have the mirror subscription. If you
disconnect either/both systems Sky will after a couple months warn you
about this. If you fail to remedy this then they will start charging
you at the full price for the second subscription.
