That's cheap. I've seen them go for £70. This one is cheaper : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=3075676 214 ....and they've both been removed. Simon Kempster |

Sky do monitor Ebay from time to time for precisely this reason. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these. Sky do monitor Ebay from time to time for precisely this reason. It's actually debatable whether they own the cards. The BBC Free TV line certainly gave them away on request & no form of contract was entered into. Those who have paid 23.50 from the now defunct www.freetoview.com may have some contract with Sky. -- Nigel Barker Live from the sunny Cote d'Azur |

It is written on the back of every single one of them. Whether payment (which is always for the privilege of viewing, never for the card itself) has been made or not is neither here nor there. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these. Whether payment (which is always for the privilege of viewing, never for the card itself) has been made or not is neither here nor there. Of course it's debatable. In fact haven't we debated this before? Let's debate it again:-) When you take out a subscription with BSkyB you enter into a contract with them & you actually sign that contract & pay them. Part of that contract is that the card is theirs. Fair enough I agree you have accepted their conditions when you sign the contract When I called up the FTV line they acting as the agents of the BBC sent me a FTV card without any cost to me or me entering into any contract with the BBC or BSkyB. I was surprised at the time that the card was identical to any other SKy subscription card & was not a special BBC card.. There is small print on the back saying that it remains the property of Sky Subscription Services. However I don't believe that this has any validity at all. Just because I write my name on a banknote before I give it to you doesn't mean that I can request it back at a later date. The FTV phone line as an agent of the BBC provided me with a card free & clear. -- Nigel Barker Live from the sunny Cote d'Azur |

Sky cards belong to Sky. There is no way around this. The same principle applies to your bank card and your passport. You have temporary use of these items but you never own them. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these.
