digibox problems
My digibox seems to have regular periods of poor reception. Usually a reboot
solves it but it is now getting less successful in remedying the situation. Is there anything else I can try which may help it? I don't have insurance from Sky so I want to avoid ringing them. But if I do this as a last resort, how do they react to signing up for it then reporting a fault straight away? Also, how do they react to threats of downgrading due to it not working correctly? Thanks in advance. |

Is there anything else I can try which may help it? You don't say what the problem is or the age or model of your box but I suspect a dying tuner/power supply. I don't have insurance from Sky so I want to avoid ringing them. Ring and ask for service. If they say "that's £65" then imply that you will have no alternative but to cancel as you are penniless. You can also find a replacement used box for very little in a car boot sale etc. Test your box on a working dish and vice-versa first though. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these.
