Well you are a ****ing idiot!

Why allow the shop to keep replacing when you can get a refund
or get a different player. Also have you ever heard of the sale of
goods act?

If it is faulty, demand your money back. Kick up a fuss when the shop is
really busy, let the other shoppers know they sell faulty goods.

The SOGA impells, by law, that the shop should refund faulty goods upto 6
months from the date of purchase.

This statement is more than a little sweeping as 'reasonable time' comes
into effect, a period which is very much undefind and is weighted by many
parameters such as purpose, use.wear, cost etc. Refunds can still be obtained
(Both parties seen to be reasonable to this end), and useful working period
can mean that all monies paid are not refunded.

I would suggest if you are going to respond then you either ensure your
facts are correct or at the very least imply any areas of doubt

Regards
Andrew

I bought one of these, £99 Video/DVD Combos, and can't fault it. It plays
every type of disc i put in, the video is ok, though mono.
The only downer is I can't make it region free, tried all the Open 0,5,2,0
Up Down etc but its not working.
I assume they've updated the firmware. Unless someone knows better?
