"Main" wrote in message ... here are the symptoms: ocassionally, picture will freeze on certain channels (eg 112 - living, 101 BBC1 etc) then return to ok. Then sometimes a blue screen appears with message "No satellite signal is being received". This can appear for some or ALL channels! Then moments later all can return to normal. This happens daily. Could this be a digibox prob (it cannot hold or tune in to the channels/frequencies) OR is it an LNB problem? My theory is that yes it could be LNB but I am also wondering if the digibox is having problems locking on to frequencies. The box is a Pace - one of the original ones. I had it about a year into the launch of Sky Digital so it is 'getting on a bit'. Paul You dont mention what your signal stregnth and more importantly, quality are. Check these out. Also try checking something as simple as the connection from the dish into the box, is it loose? No breaks / kinks in the cable? Simple stuff I know but always best to have a look. Also try a box reboot. Steve |
Digibox or LNB prob - help!

Ok, when I get these problems, the signal strength is around 45-50% (as it
is normally) but the signal quality is zero. "Steve" wrote in message ...
