Not trying to convince anything--I am who I am. Whether you choose to believe that or not is your decision. And who you're not is Dan Radcliffe from HP. Sorry mate, I can say this with absolute certainty, he doesn't use Usenet, and in the forums he does use, he NEVER uses his real name, especially to try and illicit replies out of people. He doesn't abuse his fame. Plus he's not an arrogant ****. |

Just out of curiosity, if the real Daniel Radcliffe never uses his name how exactly do you know that he is Daniel Radcliffe and not just someone else pretending to be him? I'm sure that I could do a believable impression of him in a forum if I tried. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these. I didn't say I knew him from a forum, although unlike our pretend Dan, I don't wish to namedrop (I just hate when people pretend to someone they aren't). I'd rather not say how I know Daniel, but suffice to say it isn't through the internet. Ollie Remove NOSPAM if replying by e-mail. |
"Daniel Radcliffe" wrote in message m... I've posted this several times, and NO ONE has replied yet! Please reply soon. Message is: I've heard some rumors that there may be a new channel launching soon in the United States called "SKY America", which I believe will carry programs like "Blockbusters" and SKY-related programs (not like the American programs on SKY Channel, or SKY One, because of the licenses FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, and others has for those). Someone told me it would, more or less, go on DirecTV because Hughes was bought in part by B-SKY-B not too long ago. Can anyone tell me whether or not B-SKY-B will launch this channel anytime soon? (Obviously, SKY is only doing this because of the success Discovery's had with BBC America, but no complaints here!) Futhurmore, can anyone tell me specifically on which satellite/cable providors? Currently, DirecTV, Echostar's Dish Network, and Time Warner Cable (here in El Paso) has BBC America, but I've been told the likelihood of Echostar getting SKY America is slim to none. However, we have TWCable now, so I was wondering if Time Warner Communications would pick up a contract for SKY America? So far, we've only been able to see a half-an-hour of SKY Sports on FOX Sports World via Satellite (and some digi cable providors) and I'd like to see SKY News again as well as some of the other programming from other channels, ESPECIALLY since I've been told SKY has changed to orang-ish idents recently. Cheers! Sky were considering launching Sky News in America but Fox News complained to News International and the idea was dropped. If you trawl through the Diginews archives you'll find the releavnt story |
